I went with Tebow not knowing if Palmer is going to start for sure.

Palmer was announced the starter.

EDIT:....appears it's speculation by ESPN.

Hue Jackson shot it down yesterday saying no decision has been made. Palmer shared snaps with Boller yesterday with the #1 O.

I saw that (after I posted). I was watching ESPN news and ESPN announced Palmer to start...I stupidly took ESPN news at their word.....

Al Saunders was asked what the odds are of Palmer starting and his answer was "as long as he has a pulse".

Went with Tebow, pretty sure Beck is going to fall flat on his face. Palmer might have a bit more than the others to work with, but he will have only a few days to learn the offense, so even against a bad KC team, it may not matter. Tebow will probably have a great game in Miami to give Denver a false sense of hope, and then level off to his mediocre self, but probably just enough to keep Denver out of the Luck sweepstakes. I have zero expectations for Ponder, think they may actually get worse, I don't think the root of that team's problems are at QB, but why stick with McNabb, who is clearly not the future for a rebuilding team.

Beck: 22-37 59.5% 279 yards 1TD 1INT 3sacks 18yards 80.8 rating 10 yards rushing 1TD rushing 1 lost fumble LOSS

Palmer: 8-21 38.1% 116 yards 0TD 3INT No sacks 17.3 rating no rushing yards, no fumbles. LOSS

Ponder: 13-32 40.6% 219 yards 2TD 2INT 2sacks 2 yards 59.2rating 31 yards rushing no fumbles. LOSS

Tebow: 13-27 48.1% 161 yards 2TD 0INT 6sacks 30 yards 91.7rating 59yards rushing 1 fumble that was not lost. 1 two point conversion run. WIN

I would rank them:

Tebow
Ponder [based on it being his first start ever against the world champs]
Beck
Palmer

They weren't in the poll.

But yeah, they both sucked.

They both started, which is more than you can say for Palmer.

Beck > Ponder
Stat wise.

Beck played a 1-5 team and lost by 2 scores. he also lost a fumble that was big

Ponder in his first start ever, had a chance to beat the SB champs. Had the ball at midfield with 2 minutes left down by 6.

Putting Ponder's stats next to Tebow like that makes some of the media anointing done for Christian up here in the mid-north seem a bit premature.

I don't have the capacity to change polls after they post.

Feely could be Gumbel and Whitehurst could be Danny Waffle

Ponder's line is pretty dreadful, especially since a third of the yards came on one play. And the defending champs have the 31st ranked pass defense.
