LMAO. I can't believe that the wrote up an essay trying to defend the stat. QBR is clearly a broken and incomplete statistic.
Seriously, I would think this occurrence would have been a good reason to return to the drawing board and say,"Whoops, my bad."

Anything anti-Rodgers will be bashed here. Let's just face the fact that Alex Smith is better than Rodgers. He was drafted well ahead of him and will always be better. Let it go.
Best QB in the NFL, apparently.

isn't this the dilfer thing?

Dilfer probably is anti good QB's.
It is. Playing great as a QB (and winning by huge margins due to your early scoring plays) obviously makes you a lesser QB than if you are playing in a bunch of close games. The stat also seems to think that every sack is the fault of the QB.

So he went 4 for 10? Apparently the system doesn't penalize a QB for incompletions huh? Or you can simply gain a few yards rushing and 40% passing is ignored...

I like how some of the ESPN comments have people insisting that Tebow's 16 plays were better than Arod's 47 so that's why the stat works.

QBR doesn't give the QB any credit for run after the catch.

Because a QB apparently has nothing to do with hitting a receiver in a position to run to daylight.

I believe that the Sam Braford way of leading his WRs into head-on collision should be be part of the formula.

Put in- Games lost by WR due to bad passes.

which is BS. Harvin's yards would be double if Mcnabb could hit him in stride

Well, since he's the best QB he better show it in fantasy points cause I just picked him up.

Because fantasy points are the TRUE measure of greatness.

Its a horrible stat and its confusing but i think its espn's attempt at forcing something else down our throats. I zone out when they talk qbr, its not a real stat and its only something they use so it has no relevance to me.
