Default Week 5 awards
A little over a quarter of the way through the season....who gets MVP and coach of the year?

Little question Aaron Rodgers gets MVP, but Fitzpatrick has to pick up a few votes. Coach of the year is a tough one. Harbaugh in San Fran, Gailey in Buffalo, and Schwartz in Detroit are all strong candidates.

I like Rodgers, but Calvin Johnson is MVP so far.

Chan Gailey is coach of the year.

I could go with both of these.

MVP candidates: Rodgers, Brady, Calvin Johnson.

Coach of the year candidates: Gailey, Shanahan, Schwartz, McCarthy, Belichick, Harbaugh.

I agree, that is probably a pretty good list of candidates.

Any doubt Cam Newton is ROY?

It's possible. Andy Dalton is playing well, though not as well. A.J. Green and Julio Jones both look good. I'd have to look into it to see if any others have really played exceptionally well. As of now, Newton is definitely the frontrunner.

I think a guy named Megatron poses a big question in terms of who gets the MVP.
