Well, it it was supposed to make the game boring because it was going to cause more touchbacks. 50% of the kickoffs were touchbacks last weekend. That's a huge increase...I think I heard it was like 15% last season on opening weekend. |

Eh. Get back to me halfway through the season to see if they are even close to that pace. and everybody is right about the reasons. I think it was Gruden or somebody who said eliminate the kickoff. Well, lets see, but if there are 30 or more run back for TDS, and there is a reduction in injuries, then the rule will have had the desired effect. |

Sure, but in order to tie last year, there only has to be 1.25 kickoff TDs per week. |

Randall Cobb should pass Devin Hester for the most all time returns for TD's by playoff time. My point is that the rule did not take away the long kickoff return and that in fact TDs have increased and not decreased. It has nothing to do with my suggesting that 48TDs WILL be scored. Simply a counterpoint to those who say "Get rid of the kickoff altogether" Smartass |

Not sure what you mean. Just seemed like a good place to state some facts. |
