So I just checked my locale and the games ARE up for West Palm Beach market...

1 PM Fox is Eagles/Rams.

Unf*cking real.

Bears and Atlanta were 1 and 2 seeds in the NFL last year.

Philly got bounced in the first round.

St. Louis wasn't even in the playoffs.

Proximity? Atlanta is the closest geographic team.

Wow.

I guess that's why Michael Vick gets paid the big bucks.

*sighs*

Default NFL TV Schedule (National Games etc)
Anyone got a link/info on who will be on in which markets for the first week (2, 3?) of the season?

Still gauging if DirecTV is worth it...I think it is very possible the Bears are national each of the first 3 weeks down by me.

I'm obviously talking about the Sunday 1/4 PM games.

Bears have:

Atlanta
New Orleans
Packers

I'd say all very probably national games...and none of them butt heads with the Dolphins, which is my market....

Per Fox WPB (My locale) for Sept 11 at 1:

NFL Football Regional Coverage - Teams TBA (HD, TV-PG)

There was a web-site that updated a map every week so you could see what games would be on in your area. Can't remember what it is.

Don't think you will get more than one week at a time though.

You have never dealt with DirecTV have you?

The other week the Sunday Ticket was going for free*

* with two year commitment where they likely jack the hell out of your price to make up for it.

One day Mr Goddell will stop playing judge and jury and take a serious look at this. Look at me....I have local cable and I would pay the cost to get Sunday Ticket if I could.....but I would not go back to DTV.

The list is there for the season but no links yet as there is no set data to report. This guy culls all the local affiliate responses. If the affiliate gets the choice on a game (bye week, blackout for local team) they usually dont pick until Wed or Thur of the upcoming game weekend.

I would not expect this site to be updated until this time next week. Even than I have seen last minute changes with the affiliates.

In that case don't you normally get AFC East games?

Oh they definitely suck...I've had plenty of run-in with them already and it's only been a year (I signed up last August and my first year was free)...but I figure they will not pass up sales, even prorated ones?

$335 for this second year....That's a lot...Jeez...Baseball is half that and you get 10 times as many games...WAT?!?

I presume I can hold them hostage for year #3 for a freebie if I say I'll sign another 2 year contract?

Right...but that's CBS...Bears would be on Fox with NFC opponents...and the Bears games are in different time slots than Miami each of those weeks....

Figures...Well...Even if I do get the ticket, I'm at least waiting to see if I can get week 1 for free...At least.

Looks like I'll be dumping DirecTV in a year.
