Adam Shefter via Twitter. Andy Reid was quoted as saying "The Eagles will pursue Nick Barnett if he is indeed released by the Packers this week and not traded and give him a shot as a "Thank You" for blowing the 4th and 26 play.

Is this why they are going to sign Favre too? Both deserve credit.
