it was a piss poor performance, but considering that they have had the geriatric cat wailing of Aerosmith one year, there is no way it's the worse half time performance of all time.
it was probably the best one since Michael Jackson's back in the 90s.

Great show....loved it.

Did you really want The Who again?
U2 + The Who presented by Yoo-Hoo.

The only part of the halftime show that was actually cool was Usher. I don't need the guy to open his mouth but I could watch him dance for days.

it was good, and musically it may have topped this one, but from a production standpoint this show was pretty spectacular.

I can respect a good dancer and that guy gets the job done.

Prince was terrible. Don't kid yourself. And last night was the worst on all fronts...music, sound, everything. The light stuff was cool but got old fast.

It's amazing how terrible they sound live even with all of the effects they put into the output. Terrible. I still vote for Red Hot Chili Peppers as a group that a very high percentage would like.

And geriatric Aerosmith blows that joke of a performance away. Why did Usher come on stage just to dance? Did he even say one word?

instead of 'being that guy' and hating on everything, put some effort into it and name a show that was better. im sure those geriatric shows of the past were really awesome for you.
Well yeah being as classic rock is one of my favorite forms of music of course I liked The Who.

I think they should just fill the halftime with people trying to win cash. Kicking field goals, throwing balls through tires, etc. And make sure half of the people are completely unathletic.

I kinda don't think the Chili Peppers would sell out for that event. They are fantastic live and a great band, but I can't see them doing it.

Certainly has a nice ring to it.

Maybe Bono can bring world peace as well.

the problem is that it probably appealed to maybe a third of the viewers. "pop" music, not "your pop's" music will definitely appeal to more viewers.

It's impossible to appeal to a majority of the viewers but at the very least it could have been produced properly. Fergie was screaming...with a microphone. Yeah, great performance.

isn't there a rule against doing drugs while posting? You would be the only person on the planet that liked the halftime show.
Perhaps you need to recount the "thumbs up" in this thread. The halftime critics never cease to amaze me.

Excellent point ill.

How in the world is that boring? Watching people fail is good fun.
