They're both averaging about the same yards per game passing with the exception that Vick has run for 600 yards and Vick can carry an entire team on his back.

Brady's has had a great season but I'd obviously give it to Vick.

understandable. i dont think that vick is carrying his team anymore than brady however. this year they have both been incredibly clutch.

Man what are you talking about? Vick doesn't have BENJARVIS GREEN-ELLIS to take some heat off of him with the running game. Vick isn't throwing to superstars AARON HERNANDEZ and ROB GRANKOWSKI.

What you talkin bout pwr?

I might be biased with my Vick pick, but especially after that game yesterday, this guy deserves it. He makes plays with his legs and arm that not many QB's, if any, in the league could make.

I can see the argument for Brady. He has had a great season and once again led a team with some questionable targets. He never really had that go-to receiver like he had in the past with Moss. He definitely loves to spread the ball around.

Roddy White shouldn't even be considered for the MVP, in my opinion. Sure he is having a great season, but like with any WR, you need a good QB that can get you the ball and hit you for those touchdowns.

In this order:
1. Vick
2. Brady
3. Ryan

eh, im not about to get into it like that. i can understand why eagles fans want to vote for vick. he's been great. just a matter of how you twist the numbers in your head. brady has beaten some really good teams home and away and vick didnt play the atlanta game. vick being able to move the ball with his legs doesnt matter to me so much cause brady moves the ball just as good if not better with just his arm. top 2 scoring teams in the league with the pats 2.5 more/game. like i said, it's just a matter of how you want to look at it.

Rob Gronkowski was a possible first rounder and taken 42nd overall in the draft this year. Aaron Hernandez is a good receiving TE who can't block worth a shit. They aren't bad targets.

Aside from that, Wes Welker has, for a few years now, been an excellent possession receiver. Branch and Brady obviously have some sort of chemistry because Branch is pretty weak but does well in the Patriots system.

And what the hell does BenJarvus Green-Ellis have to do with anything? It's the system. The Patriots haven't had a top running back in years -- unless you count worn down Corey Dillon. A warm body usually does the trick. Look at Laurence Maroney. He didn't look that bad during his time in New England and he's fucking terrible.

Brady has had an excellent year but he's got weapons around him and an even better system and coaching staff to help him through it. You could argue the same for Vick -- the Eagles system has had a decent amount of success regardless of who was QB (with the exception of total scrubs like Mike McMahon.)

The difference is -- Michael Vick can take a bad play and turn it into a 50 yard rush or a 15 second scramble and bomb it deep. Tom Brady can't do that. When the system breaks down, Brady fails. When the Eagles offense starts to break, Vick finds a way to make things work.

i agree with just about everything here. only thing i would disagree with is that vick makes plays with his arm that others cant make. i dont believe that. brady/manning can make all the plays needed with their arms. they are better passers than vick. vicks X factor is his wicked speed. but guys like brady/manning/rivers/brees dont need that. their x factor is looking at 5 different targets, moving and manipulating the pocket instead of tucking and running and leading their receivers with incredible precision.

went to the pats/bears game a week or so back. that was one of the most impressive qb performances i have ever seen. brady completely owned the game. it was 17 degrees, the wind chill was -5 and a constant 35-40mph wind and it didnt stop him at all. he was incredible.

Sooooo, Vick is more valuable because Andy Reid is a shitty coach?

I see.

Brady makes the system just as much as the system makes Brady. That argument is silly.

brady doesnt need to do that.. he just flips it into the stands and connects on the next play. both are doing it their own way. fun stuff to watch.

The Eagles are 8-1 in games where Vick plays the entire game. They also average 33.44 points per game in those games.

Patriots average 31.86 points per game.

With Vick, the Eagles score more points per game than the Patriots.

Why? Vick makes up for the flaws in Andy Reid's gameplan. Bill Belichick makes up for the flaws in Tom Brady's ability.

It's a tough call. Some would say Brady cemented the MVP with that win over the Bears. Like you said, that was impressive. But then Vick comes out and does what he did against the Giants in the 4th quarter.

If Vick was more valuable, he would have been the starter since day 1, then we wouldn't need these retro stats, now would we?
