Halfway through the Redskins' 16-game schedule, McNabb is the NFL's 28th-ranked passer with a 76.0 quarterback rating. He's averaging 246.4 yards per game (No. 13 in the NFL) and has seven touchdowns (tied for No. 26) and eight interceptions (tied for 10th most). |

Well Mcnabb looked pretty good last year (60.3%, 92.3 rating, 3553 yards, better than 2/1 td/int ratio in just 14 games) with a good team around him and his current team is pretty terrible. Get him some play makers and he'll look a hell of a lot better. He's not as old as you probably think. Not much of a line and not much for receivers is pretty tough to deal with. Especially when his HC is pulling him at the end of the game cause his fat ass is too winded.. |

Of course, you have to feel you are getting somewhere in putting your team together to give a qb of his age a contract like this. |

He's 33 and not nearly as mobile as he used to be, throw in the fact that the Redskins arent as talented at WR as the Eagles are I think this is a move in the wrong direction for Washington. Not to mention, he's not like Tom Brady or Peyton. He doesnt deserve this kind of deal regardless of what he did "Last year." |
