Default Vick's Dogs
A good article on what happened to the 51 dogs seized from Vick's property.

http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_yl...vickdogs092110

Not too long, but for those only minorly interested, a quick rundown, of the 51 dogs, 47 were able to be saved. 17 have been declared "rehabbed" and are in homes. four of them are now therapy dogs....all training, housing, etc was done at Vick's expense.

the remaining dogs are at an animal sanctuary in varying stages of "rehab". Considering they were taken in 2007, my guess is they'll live out their lives there.

Why anyone is still giving this ass as much media as he's getting is beyond me.

...he plays on a football team as a starting QB. Isn't that where most of his press is coming from?

He's a backup that was giving the starting nod for this week. You don't see the same press for other QBs in the same situation.

Other Backup QB's aren't installed after 3 days of Firm Confirmations of the exact opposite.

other backups aren't former probowlers with a checkered past on a team that is generally always competing for the playoffs.

That too. As much as I dislike all this, this is not a case of over coverage in this instance. Fortuanately as I said in the Eagles Vick thread, I can ignore this pretty much untill Sunday because there are bigger and better sports stories in Philly - The Flyers did win their 1st pre-season game against the Devils, after all.

Like a coach has never changed his mind in the NFL on a players status?

C'mon mooch, even you aren't that thick to believe this is just a story about a coach changing his mind

We all know that the last time Andy Reid changed his mind in anything as close to this momentous or spontaneous was in 2002 when he decided that no, he actually did NOT want fries with that.

I realize that, it just seems between ESPN and NFL Network they are WAY over doing it! There are much better things to talk about going into week 3's games than this douche bag.

LoL!
Reminds me of a passage form this Lyle Lovett song:

Here I Am Lyrics
Artist(Band):Lyle Lovett

Look
I understand too little too late
I realize there are things you say and do
You can never take back
But what would you be if you didn't even try
You have to try
So after a lot of thought
I'd like to reconsider
Please
If it's not too late

Make it a cheeseburger

now you know how we all feel about Brett Favre.
Right there with on this. Although I would rather hear about Favre than Vick.
