Default Lockout a real possibility
Things do sound good for a new CBA to get done before next March. This work stoppage would be a HUGE mistake for the NFL, players and owners.

I don't think we could get Sean Payton to play QB again.

Here's a thought, Faver gets injured this weekend, and decides to retire. Then the owners lock out the players and higher scabs, Faver then comes out of retirement to join the scabs. Now, Hmmmm what team would he go to? bears maybe?

If the owners lock out the players there will be no replacement players. They would be forced to honor the players contracts if they were operating. If the players strike they can replace them but if the owners initiate a lockout there will be no football.
