Default Thoughts on NFL scheduling SNF opposite WS?
Seeing some debate around about it being a good idea or a bad idea. Wondering what you guys think.

I would think, especially for someone like you brett, that this really wouldn't matter to you. You're going to watch the WS regardless of what else is on right?

I'm watching the WS if 1. The Yanks are playing, 2. Its a good matchup not involving the Yanks.

I'm watching SNF if the Red Sox are in the WS.

Right.

And let's say, just for shits and giggles, that the Twins AREN'T in the WS. I know, the odds are slim and all, but then what are you watching? Two teams you don't like in the WS and two teams you don't like playing on SNF.

If one of the teams is the Red Sox I'm watching SNF. If it's 2 teams I don't care about in both games then I'm flipping back and forth between the two games.

Probably flip between the 2 and watch Family Guy

Saints vs. Steelers on SNF.
Depending on how the Ben thing shakes out that could be a good game.

That is true, but it's the thought that counts.

Im just surprised that the NFL waited for so long to do this.

The NFL is the 800 lb gorilla in the TV sports world. Why should the NFL (and NBC, specifically) give up a Sunday night telecast, considering the amount of money they pay for TV rights, just because the World Series is on?
