not even gonna try and talk a bunch of smack, but i really believe you're wrong and time will tell! Can you name one signature game for him? Where his back was against the wall and he lead his team to victory or a game where he faced a ton of pressure in his face all game long and he stepped up and dominated? |

Hof isn't an NFL scout. He just thinks he is. He faced it in 4 games in his career and lost every one. Colardo (freshman season) Texas (lost and looked rattled at the end of the game in 2008) Florida ( national championship game) BYU (first game last season and he eventually got knocked out of it) The ONLY one I can think of was his first game against Texas when he lead a 10+ play TD drive to take the lead early in the 4th. But UT's defense was really bad that year. |

If you can tell me a game where he faced adversity and overcame it i'm all ears. |

Florida was by far the best team in college football that year. Their defense was unbelievable and Bradford had absolutely no help in that game. Nobody was going to beat Florida, and yet Bradford still threw for 256 yards and 2 TDs in that game (they were 6/13 on 3rd downs btw, pretty good). He had 2 picks, but like I said, nobody was gonna beat Florida. Still had a pretty damn good showing all things considered. Against BYU, he was 10/14 with a TD before leaving with that devastating shoulder injury. Not exactly a bad outing there. Bradford threw for 387 yards and 5 TDs against Texas in 2008. What more do you want from him? Yes, Bradford never won any of the games he lost. |

What more do you want from him? And Colt McCoy lead his team from behind in 2008. Bradford never responded. Like I said he doesn't handle adversity. That texas game he faced it when colt put his team on his back and took the lead in the 4th. Bradford couldn't respond. None of those 4 games did he step up when his team needed him to. You hit him a few times or his team goes behind. And he can't rise to the challenge. |

Hof's argument is a circle. He basically defines games that Bradford faced adversity in as ones that he lost. He then says that Bradford never overcame adversity -- and defines that to mean Bradford never won any of the games he faced adversity in. The other 4...not so much. Anytime he's been hit or his team has been behind late in the game, he hasn't shown up. Again if you can point to any game in his career besides 2007 vs texas. I'll be all ears. This is college football, you only play a few difficult games a year and he only played 2 seasons. So that means only like 5-6 games are really going to be a 'challenge' |
