this tebow shit has gotten outta control. all they are talking about. and his new throwing motion? sure he doesnt drop it past his balls, but it's a slow release. he better quicken that a tick or two or he's gonna get smoked. I rly think if anyone picks him up, they'll do it with him playing Hb while they try to train him to do crazy shit as a Qb, like take snaps under center or release the ball quicker. |

He's gonna get smoked anyway. Although college qb requires a different set of skills then the NFL. I hope he makes it just to prove everyone wrong cause the dude is a virgin orphan saver, but its not looking good. Like pwr said even if he isn't scratching his balls with every throw, its still slow as shit |

Yea while his NFL prospects look bleak. If you go back and look at old threads NO ONE on these boards gave him a chance to be a successful college QB(except me of course). He went on to be one the best to ever play the game at the college qb position. |

Nah, I don't think so. It only takes one team. Someone will grab him quicker than you think. Average Arm Strength + Slow Release = bleak future I'd be glad to let him go to the Pats and let them waste a pick. I wouldn't take him at all. This is one of the deepest draft in memory, I'm not taking a guy like Tebow with so many flaws to fix early. |

I always thought invites to the NFL draft were supposed to go to people that will be top 10 picks. Like when rodgers and quinn fell how big of a deal it was. |

I think everyone knew he's a great college qb. It was at the pro level everyone questioned. You were the only one giving him a chance to be sucessful NFL qb. Those thoughts lasted for about a year...until he won the heisman. Then it turned into the sentiment you mentioned |

If someone takes him in the 2nd round, they are morons. Slow releases kill QB's at the next level. Shit, he couldn't hit 20-30 yard throws today with consistency. |

Nope most thought all he had was a 'jump pass' and would fail as Florida's QB. Have you changed your thoughts on his pro prospects? |

Never read any posts saying he wouldn't make it in college. http://sports-boards.net/forums/show...ow+loves+ashey Poster, after poster, after poster saying he wouldn't do anything in college I never really believed he was gonna be a #1 overall pick. I even made a joke thread about it on the Lions board. But I did think he would be a first rounder Edit: And a successful NFL QB |
