Default Cromartie on the Block
Chargers CB Cromartie could be traded

By Mark J. Miller

San Diego Chargers cornerback Antonio Cromartie(notes) may not be with the team when things get started up for next season, according to ESPN. It's being reported that the team is "exploring possible trade scenarios" that would send Cromartie packing in exchange for a running back.
One of the scenarios that was rumored to be happening was Cromartie being sent to the Dallas Cowboys in exchange for running back Tashard Choice(notes) but it appears that Dallas isn't interested in that at this point. ESPN suggests that the Green Bay Packers could use a cornerback and would likely use a draft pick to trade rather than a player.
Cromartie had three interceptions and 33 tackles last season for the Chargers, the only team he's played for since being drafted 19th overall in the 2006 draft. Moving elsewhere may also help Cromartie find new friends to have children with as well. He currently has seven spread over five states and has had a number of paternity suits filed against him in recent years.
