Donte Stallworth, suspended for the entire 2009 season after his DUI manslaughter conviction last summer, will be reinstated to the league after this Sunday's Super Bowl, according to Richard Justice of the Houston Chronicle.
The Browns have already said he will not be back with them, so he will have to beg for work elsewhere. At age 29, and coming off of many sub-par seasons even before his nonexistent 2009 campaign, expect the bidding to be anything but fierce. http://www.rototimes.com/index.php?s...ball&type=home |

The Browns have terminated Donte Stallworth's contract, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
The troubled receiver was under contract with Cleveland through 2014. Stallworth was re-instated by the NFL today after serving a one-year suspension for his DUI manslaughter conviction. He is now free to sign with any team, but won't be a hot target on the free agent market. http://www.rototimes.com/index.php?s...ball&type=home If the Browns cut him, then..... |
