this is an exercise in futility. the only people who are going to call it running up the score are dallas fans and packers fans. http://espn.go.com/blog/nfcnorth/pos...s-34-cowboys-3 I wasn’t a big fan of the Vikings’ decision to leave their starters in the game and throw into the end zone on fourth down with 1:55 remaining. But with the Saints looming, it’s clear that coach Brad Childress wasn’t about to let his foot off the gas. |

Not true. The ESPN blogger for the NFC North (who is a former beat writer for the Vikes) said it was wrong. |

Cowboys ILB Keith Brooking called the Vikings' late fourth-quarter touchdown throw to Visanthe Shiancoe "classless" following Sunday's playoff game.
"I thought it was B.S.," Brooking added. "Granted, we get paid to stop them, but we had zero timeouts left. I didn't think there was any call for that." Vikings DT Kevin Williams responded: "We don't care what Keith Brooking says. He was about to get his ass whupped on our sideline over there. Nobody said anything when they blew out the Eagles (in Weeks 17 and 18)." |
