Puts the various misdeeds of some other athletes to shame if you ask me....and there's a good chance he'll never get in trouble for it.
So much for that "he's one of the good guys" image. Just another example of why we shouldn't be shocked when athletes, famous, rich and powerful folks are found out. I just assume they are all doing shady stuff or fucking around. And a perfect example of why these folks aren't role models or heros. They definitely shouldn't be looked up to. |

My wife works for a former NFL players charity doing silent auctions for various events. A few years back I had the opportunity to meet Priest Holmes. We got into a conversation about Larry Johnson and why some guys just always to seem to be in trouble. He told me that he NEVER left the house outside of practice or grocery shopping and guys like LJ were the reason. He then went on to tell me that players who get in trouble put themselves in the position 100% of the time even if they start it or dont. |

And this is the sort of reason I am astonished at the Tiger backlash. Everyone up in arms about how disgusted they are with him and they won't cheer for him anymore, etc., etc.
Yet parts of this story have been out there for a year and there's little to no backlash against another "good-guy" athlete...who just also happened to be one of the best to ever play his position. Someone tell me what is worse....a murderer or an adulterer? |

You'll notice that Harrison has been unemployed or injured for much of the time frame where this story has been out and about. I'm sure that's part of it - he's under the radar. In his prime golfer biggest athlete in the world vs. a almost has been football player. I'll still be a Tiger fan, I feel pretty sick that I once liked Harrison. |

That was for a little dramatic flair, but the guy ended up dead and the detectives in the story didn't think it was coincidence. If Harrison had someone else do it, he still could be convicted of some sort of murder charges if they prove the connection. |
