Default Ochocinco is a retard!!!
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4749360

I can't say I've ever had the urge just to beat someone's ass, because I don't get along with him.

This is truly the first thing from him I have not found the least bit entertaining.

And I find just about everything from him to be rather entertaining or at least humorous.

Hey, some people you just don't like.

I don't think Ochocinco is trying to be funny here. He plays some of it off trying to be humorous but I think there's a genuine dislike there. It probably doesn't hurt that Merriman is a steroid user who allegedly beat his girlfriend.

I have been following these two on Twitter for a while and actually it is a joke. They have been making fun of each other since training camp. This pic was sent by Merriman today as part of the joke:

I believe Ocho is good for the NFL and players. He just always joking and having fun. Plus he is helping out a lot. He weekly gives away tickets, takes people shopping, i know a couple of times he rents out a theater for the first 100 people in the city he is to watch a movie with him for free. What I do like a lot is that twice this season the Bengals were going to be blacked-out and he and Motorola both bought half the tickets left and gave them away to fans for free.

The story is meant to show the bad side of things (just like a lot of news stories, Drama = Money for writers) and should always be looked at from both sides before determining what you find to be right and wrong.

Included in everything good you said about Ochocinco, he also gives back to the league by getting fined. Getting fined never stops him from the tom-foolery so he just keeps on givin'!

Ochocinco is the man. It's good to see him playing well again.

Methinks the joking from 85 is probably going to be quite a bit subdued from here on out. Sounds like he was pretty good buddies with Chris Henry.

On one of the local morning shows they bring in the comedian who's in town doing standup at the local station to joke around for a while and promote his show.

The guy's are usually not too famous.

So a couple weeks ago, this comedian says he's a friend of #85 and he talked about all the stuff he does for fans.

He does tons of stuff for fans, in fact sometimes visiting bengal fans he'll pay for their whole trip, tickets, hotel, food, just to be cool.

The comedian said one time he was treating some fans on a trip like that and after paying for everything they walked up to him at the end and said, "uhhh...here's the receipt for the cab fare from the airport to the hotel..."

What fucking cheap asses are these PEOPLE!?!?!

#85 paid them for it.

So the DJ's ask if the comedian knows him well enough that he'd call the show. A minute later #85 is on the phone, hanging out in the locker room on live radio. The guy is on for like 10 minutes and he is FUNNY AS hell the whole time.

He's just hilarious, really cool, and really entertaining.

Probably one of the best NFL player interviews I've heard, just a real fun guy.

I think this thing is part of his shtick. The guy is just having fun.

I know one time (not sure if he still does it) but when he got fined by the NFL (which supposedly the NFL sends the money to a charity of its choice), Ocho then matched his fine ($15,000) and sent it to a charity of his choice. So the guy dropped $30,000 for charities.

I am looking forward to what he does in the game this weekend. He more than likely will do something to honor Chris Henry, but will the league fine him? I really hope not, that would be heartless.

The league should let him wear Henry's number, but they won't.

It's the NFL, I wouldn't be surprised if they did fine him. Or even release an address to Cincy as a team regarding no shenanigans. That wouldn't surprise me either.

Yes.

The league seems to run with the hard stance of "rules are rules no matter what"

So I guess Ocho has stated he is going to wear Henry's number (not sure about the actual jersey with his name on it) this weekend. The NFLPA has also come out and stated that whatever fine that Ocho receives from the NFL they will match and donate the money to the Chris Henry Memorial.

You mean they're actually going to acknowledge it, allow it, and than fine him anyway? Why not just donate the fucking money??

The NFL and NFLPA are two very different organizations.
