Default Most receptions in one game
Brandon Marshall caught 21 passes today. Is that the new record?

Yes. Me-O had the record with 20. Marshall also caught 18 in a game last year as well

I remember that game. Thought he was gonna get to 20 in that game as well.

What a shock Marshall's season has been, considering he wanted out before the season even started.

It's just a shame everyone's gonna be talking about Marshall's game (not taking any credit away from his day) considering Andre Johnson has 11 rec for 193 and 2 TD's today. Now that guy is going to be a staple in WR nation for a few more yrs. He reverts from the typical WR persona (see Blaxico, Marshall, Ochocinco, T-Blow) and he's still a top 5 WR in the league.

They said that they drew up the play just so that Marshall can get the record. Class move by the coach, IMO.

They tried the two previous plays as well. One was a screen pass in which Orton drilled it into the ground. It was the type of play a QB and WR would probably complete 99% of the time.
