It is not rediculous, it is Drew Brees.

In terms of yards yes, but having forced 30 turnovers?

I like my defense to force turnovers and like Rip said, their defense is good enough to win it all.
Forcing TOs though is a double-edged sword when it comes to the playoffs. Remember before the Lions lost 83249872134 games in a row? They led the league in forced TOs and were 6-2.

Teams in the playoffs are there because they make less mistakes. It is nice to have some ball hawks, but they have to step up still to make a run and not rely on TOs.

Of course Favre is due for a 5 pick game so he may give it up when they get there. Indy won't if they meet them in the SB. That would be a sick game.

15th in scoring defense too, and since you're not comprehending my posts, i also said their defense is good enough to win with that offense.

this isn't baltimore several years ago. the saints aren't going to win with their defense being spectacular and their offense being good enough, they're going to win with their offense being spectacular and their defense being good enough.

their offense is more important than their defense. obviously all three phases are important to winning a title though.

Manning threw a few picks against the pats defense. He makes mistakes too.

The defense is more responsible for to's than an offense, IMO.

Brady under pressure = Brady throws pick.

I just don't think you can depend on the TOs. I know that some teams are very good at creating pressure and forcing them, but with 18 games of film under their belts, and a team that is less likely to make stupid mistakes out there, the D has to do it the old fashioned way. Force teams to punt.

The Saints haven't exactly been totally immune to having to squeek games out either with bad offense some weeks. They had their hands full with teams like STL a couple weeks ago...lol

Where did I say their defense was more important than their offense? I said it was safe to say that the Saints are more than just a good offensive team which is true. They can still win if their offense is good enough.

They are probably going hold the Pats to 17 points. The Pats are definitely one of the better offensive teams in the league.
