Default Immortal QB still playing
No, this is not about Brett Favre.

Instead, this is about Vinnie Testaverde.

Vinnie last played for Carolina in 2007.

But wait... that's not Vinnie! Or is it?

In 2008, a 'rookie' QB started for the Baltimore Ravens. That 'rookie' dominated at the University of Delaware for several years, but came right into the NFL and played like a veteran.

Clearly a player of his caliber could sneak onto a college squad with no practice time and play to a high level.

Ask yourself these questions:

1) How likely is it that a player from a non-football-factory school could make it to the NFL?

2) How likely is it that that player could play QB and start immediately?

3) How likely is it that that player could take his team to the playoffs his rookie year?

4) Have you EVER seen Vinnie Testaverde and Joe Flacco in the same place at the same time?

There you have it, friends. Until we get substantial proof that Joe Flacco is indeed Joe Flacco, I remain convinced that this is another instance of the immortal Vinnie Testaverde finding a way to play NFL football.

If only he'd share his secrets with Jeff George.

Would it really be worth it for Vinnie to go through the trouble if he wasn't going to be able to take the INT record away from Brett?
