Do you think we could get a graph of the favre having fun meter?
historically? Over this season, season by season in general I hear announcers all the time "favre is having fun" "Man, favre is having fun out there" "he's like a little kid, look at him having fun" "he's finally having fun again" so when wasnt he? I think someone should make one, maybe SI, isnt he on the cover? |

I remember when Favre cost his team a touchdown by running about five yards past the line of scrimmage (when he could have easily finished running into the endzone with just a bit of contact) before under handing the ball to a receiver. The Packers ended up not even getting a field goal out of the situation. Favre was just down there laughing about it afterwards (he actually did basically this same thing twice in this same season). The announcers, just adoring him, talked about how much fun he is having down there after this happened. If that was any other QB in the league they would have been blasting him for how stupid of a play he just made (especially if he was just laughing about it). But for Favre they act like its just another reason he is great. |
