True. But he still could have found a compromise where he got close to the guaranteed money they were offering (and similar to the money the guys around his draft position got) while getting some incentives. He didn't need to wait until October and make himself look like yet another spoiled, bad attitude WR.
as a fan I like incentive deals....

yeah. he's not helping himself early, but people forgive quickly if you perform and win.

How many commercials do you see Moss making? Or TO, Ochocinco, Javon Walker (when he still mattered)? Those guys get far fewer deals.

TO was just on a show.

Moss has endorsed nike and several other products

TO had a deal with underarmor or whatever, those fag body suits.

I didn't say they get no deals. I'm saying they get far fewer deals than they could have.

Possibly, but outside of Peyton Manning who'll endorse anything there arent a lot of NFL players seen on national commercial spots.

but fan attitudes change. Their are viking fans embracing Favre. I still hate the guy. I've hated him since age of 12. I dont know anything else.

Don't mind Peyton, but why do they have to throw his brother in them now?

Peyton Manning should lose endorsement deals because so many people mute the TV whenever he shows up as they're tired of hearing his voice.

Had Moss gone to Green Bay, attitudes in WI would have changed quickly as far as he goes. But he still wouldn't have gotten the big buck endorsements of an AP, Emmet Smith, or Peyton Manning. Moss was probably the best player in the NFL for 3-4 years but was largely invisible when it came to endorsements. People in general didn't like him.
