So basically the Bills start the game 10-0 against the Pats and the Raiders are starting 6.5-0? Still alittle confused sorry haha.

Yes, exactly. If the Chargers win the game 21-10 and you take SD, you win. If say the Chargers win the game 20-14, you lose the bet.

Vikes board has a Bookie Challenge when the season starts, if you're interested.

"Chips" are traded.

They already have lines on week one games? Unbelievable. There haven't been any new injuries or even the start of training camp for that matter. I fully expect those lines to change within the next month as things progress.

Of course they will change... and they will change several times throughout the course of this next month.

Hillarious! How can anyone place a line on an NFL team b/4 Training Camp begins and the inevitable injuries, cut downs, and pickups to follow. Many teams do not even have all their Draft Picks signed yet, FCOL

I'll tell you who - degenerate gamblers.

Gamblers/bookies with inside info will take advantage of this.

What's parlay?

Didn't Pirates say that, or was that just Hollywood magic?

A parlay or accumulator is a single bet that links together two or more individual wagers and is dependent on all of those wagers winning together. The benefit of the parlay is that there are much higher payoffs than placing each individual bet separately since the difficulty of hitting it is much higher. If any of the bets in the parlay loses, the entire parlay loses. If any of the plays in the parlay pushes, the parlay reverts to a lower number of teams with the odds reducing accordingly. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parlay_(gambling)
