The root of this posts creation lies in that statement.

Yeah, should have known. But guess what? Bet he did know. This Eagles organization has become so adept at double talk and misdirection in thier handling of the media and they have McNabb schooled in it.

Just as likely this comment was planned to divert attention from the fact that the game plan sucked massive monkey nuts.

So Ima.... thanks for playing right into that.
Hey whatever helps you sleep at night.

Favre must have called him before the game. Fucking Favre.
Favre doesn't call other QB's, they call him. Ask Romo.

I have a question, seriuously, did anyone here not know you could have a tie?

Thats the kid of shit my wife would ask, "babe what happens if nobody scores in OT?"

Then its a tie.

"Really, does that ever happen?"

Yeah but its been so long I dont even remember the last one

I had to try and answer these questions to my wife yesterday. And then I tried to explain college OT rules. I think she just blocked me out after awhile.

For some reason I remember Washington ending in a tie a few years ago.

It could be worse. The Lions players still don't know you can win a game in the NFL.
They will beat the Bucs next week

So THAT'S WHAT THE 'T' stands for after the 'W' and the 'L' in the standings!!

I could never quite figure that out. I thought maybe it was TIME OUTS, but then someone told me you CAN'T ROLL THEM OVER. Now that's fucked up, we should be able to roll over time outs and carry them the whole season. I'll just spike the ball to stop the clock and save up time outs through out the year, JUST IN CASE I GET TIRED during the superbowl, I know I'll have a bunch to spare.

Seriously, he's just making that up, of course he knows the game can end in a tie, he just wasn't thinking at the moment during the conference. You can't tell me he's never noticed in his ENTIRE life the "W/L/T" when looking at the standings and never ONCE WONDERED what the "T" was for?

You learn that stuff when you're about 10 years old, or whenever you first start following the NFL, and can look up "Standings" whether online or in the paper.

I wanted to go make my picks this week but they didn't give me the option to select a T?

In your threads? You didn't read the part of the TOS where all posts become property of the boards?

I saw he died recently, but it wasn't exactly a tribute. It was more inspirational. It was Bear week and the Packers had dropped too many games by getting pushed around at the end of close games. It was about time someone stepped up with SOME SHONUFF like attitude. Some mean badass spirit!

I saw the movie recently and realized, THIS is the type of MEAN SOB we need. The BADDEST, MEANEST, MOFO in all of Harlem.

I'm glad the Pack got some kick ass attitude back in their system. Hopefully it carries over to Monday Night.

BTW, back on topic, a couple media types agree with me, they think McNabb really knows about ties but was trying to blow it off or something and it backfired.
