I had to read throught this thread twice to realize that it was a paralyzed child's wish to hang out with Big Ben. At first I thought Big Ben was the one who was paralyzed, and Hof was saying it was a wish come true or something of that sort.

Nevermind me, I am an idiot....

Considering it was mainly Ben's wish to fulfill, perhaps all the guys weren't fully informed of the young man's condition.

As far as I'm concerned, I'd rather see them all be enthusiastic about the young man than to gush over him and tell him how sorry they are he can't do the things he loves anymore. I think everything the whole Steelers organization did for that young man is amazing. Even Dan Rooney got involved and made sure everyone had a lot of fun. That's just great. I thoroughly enjoyed watching that segment.

Looks like the one with Shaq coming up later this week looks to be a pretty good one too.
don't let su nittany tide see it. shaq is a jerk of warren sapp proportions.

Default My wish with Big Ben
Did anyone else see this. All the steelers kept trying to give the kid a high five and shake his hand. But he's paralyzed when the next down

lol maybe some of them didn't know he couldn't move his hands? just throught he was paralyzed in the lower half, pretty sad story about the kid but that was a nice thing, minus them trying to high five a kid who cant lift his arms.
