Default Rome is Moron.
I caught the end of his dumb show today and he was talking about the Patriots not being the best team ever. He said that because it was what Eric Dickerson told him earlier. He said, "If 'The Dick' says it, it's good enough for me. I love E-D."

Rome is a buffoon.

I've watched his show probably twice since it started. He's a complete waste of my time.

I think someone is taking Rome a bit too seriously.

Almost like the people who thought he was seriously championing cock fighting.

Either way, I'm sad I missed Monday's show. I wanted to hear his disappointment in the Miami Dolphins for not having what it takes to go that extra mile and get that perfect record.

Jim Everett's appearance on his show is one of my favorite TV moments of all time.

Aside from that, Jim Rome is useless.

It was great. I'm not much of a fan of Rome is Burning but his radio show is the best.

And the Jim "Chris" Everett was a classic.

I don't listen to him quite as much as I used to, but yeah, if you know Rome, it was obvious that was him being sarcastic.

I did catch the Monday show, and it was pretty funny. He talked about having a bad day, and Miami ripping his dream away. Also laid into Baltimore.

He gave Frank Caliendo some material. It was good for a laugh.

"Nick Saban attacks defenses like I attack four syllable words.

in-credible!
un-stoppable!
pre-nuptuals!
Count-Chocula!"

You see?

I catch maybe part of his show every two weeks or so, but I could predict what Monday's was going to be about.

I admit sometimes he's funny, and sometimes he's annoying.

I like to listen to his interviews more than anything.

He often gets people on there that don't do a lot of interviews.

Like Bo Jackson for example.

Half the time someone comes on that I don't know much about, and I end up liking them by the end of the interview.

Myself, I like his non-sports related takes the best. I laughed my ass off when people would call in and bash on him for promoting Cock Fighting For Kids. And he never broke down laughing.

Yeah, its pretty hilarious to hear how naive some people can be.

He'll sometimes purposely mispronounce someone's name, and all of a sudden everyone is trying to correct him.

I heard part of today's show since I got home early.

There was a guy who called up, and did a parody of Jailhouse Rock. He called it Mole face Rock.

It was a terrible parody, but the lines he had in there were funny.

he talked about it all day on his radio show, funny shit. stuff about cleo lemon stabbing him in the chest and the guy that caught the td in OT stepping on his chest to pull it out and stab him in the back, of course that was some shitty paraphrasing there.
