Back with the Panthers for a one year deal. 43 years young.

Goodness, times are tough in Carolina. Figured they'd have called Bledoe first.

That's gonna be one heck of a cram session with the playbook.

Throw it up to Smith, and hand it off to Williams or Foster.

Protecting the football has never been a strong suit of his though, and neither has mobility.

Maybe Smith can help him get 50,000 yards passing. He's just a few short.

Holy crap, hope his O-line is half decent. He was a statue when young.

"He'll get moided, I tell ya!"

I wonder if he's coming back to reclaim that record Favre took from him.

I assume he was the leader in picks, but I could be wrong.

Thought I heard it was George Blanda?

I never bothered to look it up.

One of those "crappy" records that noone wants.

I just assume Interceptaverde has to be really high on that list.

He seemed to play long enough to rack up the numbers.

Now I'll look it up.

I never really found a good list, but Favre and Blanda have 277 interceptions.

Testaverde has 261.

You are correct.
I faintly remember him.

Guy played in the N-F-L until he was as old as you, me, and Lifer.

Can you imagine doing that?

You don't remember him kicking FGs for the Raiders?

I remember him going into games for the Raiders and the team coming alive. He was also a good kicker. He wanted to play until he was 50, but the Raiders retired him before he got the chance.

Kinda. I mostly remember Darryl Lamonica and the Heidi game from the Raiders.

The Vikes were pretty good back then.

Helped that the corner covering him stopped for no apparent reason while the ball was in the air.
