Agreed to those terms under threat of what penalty? But from what I hear, he plans on playing football. This season. |

to the Tennessee Tyrants. http://www.sports-boards.net/forums/...d.php?t=119918 but I'll hold my opinions on the old south to myself. I don't wanna incriminate and/or break any TOS regulations on this board. |

There are other things he could do instead of pro wrestling. Millions of those things do not involve him putting himself in harms way. He is still under contract by the Titans, and if he gets hurt, they are the ones the suffer because he is their investment.
I am sure they wouldn't have a problem with him working at Burger King. |

I am not a fan of Pacman Jones, but how can an employer who has suspended you without pay and is seeking to recoup bonus money when they eventually cut you, tell you where you can work? Keep in mind that he has not been convicted of anything. I cannot for the life of me see how this judges order can stand the light of judicial review. I mean, slavery ended in the 1860s, right? You can say, well they are protecting their "investment". But... Another Titans player appeared on a TNA pay pay-per-view show in June. Kyle Vanden Bosch pulled wrestler James Harris out of the ring during a match where the Titans defensive end was serving as the second for retired Tennessee tight end Frank Wycheck, who was making his grappling debut as a celebrity attraction for the Slammiversary card in Nashville. The old south is alive and well and living in Nashville. |

The NFL suspended him. He saw an opportunity and tried to explore it and he is being prevented from earning a legal living. I'm sure he has other "enterprises", but legally I cannot understand how an employer can stop you from making a living. |

It detracts not at all from the point that he is earning no money from his profession. The body that governs the Titans, the NFL, is who suspended him. He can continue to make money, but not in a way that violates his contract further. |

He signed a contract with the Titans stating that he cannot do things like that. The Titans are his employeer. They've paid him a crapload of bonus money. That is the only reason they care about him anyway. He's gone as soon as his suspension is over. They want trade value. I simply cannot see how judge in a court of law can prevent someone from making a legal living. By the way, Vanden Bosch is also making a crapload of money and as far as I know they didn't file an injunction against him. |

Ummm, wouldn't an injury violating his contract make it easier to recoup their bonus money? The judge can prevent him from doing so because Jones agreed to those terms when he signed his contract. |

Vanden Bosch didn't wrestle. He worked the corner. Jail? I would suggest that the terms of the contract state that he would just be terminated and lose all un-amortized bonus money. |
