Default Do we really need all these Nationally televised Preseason games??
I'm hungry for the upcoming football season but not to the point where I would watch a NFL preseason game with the starters only playing 10 minutes. It was a game last night on Fox between the Cowboys and Colts, now there is a Game on CBS between the Saints and Bills. I don't want to even think about whats going to be on this weekend. Anyone agree it's a bit much?? Damm sure wasn't like this in the 80s

Are the batteries in your remote control dead? There should be buttons on the TV if so.

I don't really care that much about the majority of preseason games, just the Packer ones. But if they show less games, that's less of a chance for me to see the GB game.

I doubt they're looking for the big audiences...just the fans of the teams involved and anyone that feels like watching a little football when they have the chance.

if you don't like it, turn the channel. I'm sure there is a lovely episode of Frasier on somewhere....

Do WE NEED them?

If by WE, you mean the collective civilization,

and by NEED, you mean neccessary for sustaining life,

then the answer is no.

But, I am a displaced Packer fan who cannot see his team's progress otherwise. If the NFLN didn't show these games, I would definitely be less happy.

I hope this is helpful.

I wished they would feature more teams that picked in the top 10 of the draft...

Market those big time rookies.

Yes, we do. Sure, I may not care about the Cowboys and Colts, but I sure as hell care about when the Iggles play. I want to see how my starters look and and even more eager to see the guys fighting for roster spots or bench players who may have to fill in due to an injury. And pennywise is right, you don't have to watch them, rent a movie, 300 just came out.
