According to a report on SI.com, Pacman Jones could be facing a league suspension very soon for his off-the-field conduct issues. According to the report, sources within the league office say the NFL is likely to set an example with its punishment of Jones, suspending him even before the legal process from a Las Vegas strip club brawl in February is complete. The suspension could wipe out his entire 2007 season.

ESPN.com reports Tennessee Titans head coach Jeff Fisher says a decision on the future of CB Adam Jones' with the team will likely be made "by the end of the week," according to The New York Daily News. "Pac on the field is an exceptional player. Off the field, he's got some things to work out. That's all I can comment on," Fisher said when asked by the newspaper if he wanted Jones to return.

Pacman just continues to amaze...
Pointing the finger at Goodell for making him a "poster boy" & as a 5-time arrestee commenting that the suspension was a little harsh "for a guy that hadn't been charged with nothing " is a sure-fire way of convincing the Titans that he's ready to take responsibility actions & is ready to clean up his act.... I hope that the chance he could come back in week 11 never materializes. He 'earned' this suspension & should get the full year to enjoy it.... http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/6682508 |

I would add that this guy is not just under a suspension...he has to appeal to get back in...and to even be considered he has to have no encounters with the police between now and then. That doesn't mean he has to not get arrested...that means no tickets, no encounters what-so-ever.
Think about that. The kid has money and tons of time on his hands....and no sense.... Stick a fork in him. He's done. |
