Addai and Rhodes numbers hurt each other in the vote...I think one without the other gets the MVP. That being said the same can be said for the Colt Defense...there was more than one that could be considered for it.

Peyton is the Colts MVP. He is out there making it happen and getting them in the right play...something usually reserved for the coach so when it comes down to a stat game tonight he really is the MVP.

Rhodes had like 50 more yards rushing on 2 more carries then addai but addai had 66 yards passing as well.....rhodes had the only td between the to. Peyton had 250 plus passing yards but only 1 td and 1 int....so I dunno it should have been CO MVPs but this superbowl has be soo based on Peyton that they probably had his name on the MVP trophy before the game started

That's a shame. It would have been nice to see Addai win it. 1 reception away from the record with over 140 total yards.

Peyton was under a lot of pressure and still made the big plays, I think he deserves it, especially with all the times he got hit in that game.

I was putting my money on Rhodes getting it, but I guess him and Addai must have split the decision between the two, leaving Manning.

I thought Bob Sanders was going to get it. FF and INT.

Didn't Addai have like 57 first downs?

Same, but he didn't do much else (2 tackles). A TD would have helped, but he still wouldn't have won. He's a hell of a player though.

The Bears had the ball for like 12 minutes, he didn't really have many chances to make any tackles. But yeah. I can see that as a reason not to vote him it.

Plus, that entire team just is built around Peyton. He deserves it, even if his game wasn't that great.

Book it
you jinxed him with that "book it" crap.

I think he deserved it...he made so many bears whiff yesterday!!

I compare a lot of Grossman's completions to Manning's...the difference is that Thomas Jones was tackled right away while Addai was making those swing passes into 8-10 yard plays consistently.

Did the fans vote for the MVP? I saw earlier in the game it said for fans to text in to choose the cadillac mvp of the game. Cadillac presented the award. If that is how they chose the SB MVP, that practice needs to end immediately.

My understanding is that the fans get to make their vote, and it counts as a percentage of the overall vote toward the MVP.

Thats not so bad. I'd still say that unless its an extremely small percentage that they should just scrap it. Manning could have thrown 4 ints and no TD's and he still would have won MVP with fan voting because he's the huge name on that team.
