Just overheard in my office:

Patriots Fan: "I'll bet you $250 that the Patriots not only go into San Diego and BEAT the Chargers, but that they win by more than 2 TDs"

Guy with Functioning Brain: "You are out of your fucking mind"

Pats Fan: "I'm dead serious. $250 bucks, pussy"

GWFB: "I know you're serious. That's why you're out of your fucking mind. Deal."

They shook hands, and it's official.

I am still, without a doubt, LOLing like a sunnabitch.

Don't be surprised when you watching the game when some fan runs on the field and tries to take out LT's knee.

What's the official line?

I'm going with the Pats, especially if they're getting points.

But I can't do that unless my Vike sister puts up the weekend games...

I think the Pats have a really good chance at winning.

I don't think it'll be a blowout though, especially with Brady staring at Merriman all day long.

You have to assume the Pats will try to confuse Rivers and neutralize LT though.

I usually look at this for the odds:

http://www.vegasinsider.com/nfl/odds/las-vegas/

It gives you an idea anyways, but as you can see, the first one is way out of whack with everyone else by about 2 points.

That's a lot.

I'm going with Brady and Belichick's proven playoff experience, versus the Chargers'......

Nice weather.

If I were betting, I'd take the Pats and the points as well.

I lost a couple bets last week, and right now I'm sitting on some money that I don't want to further dwindle down.

So most likely I won't be betting on any games until I get paid, which will be after the Superbowl.

Hometeams usually get a touchdown anyway don't they?

Doesnt this mean New England is favored?

I'd take 2 touchdowns on any game for the next 2 weeks. I might lose but I'd still take it.

No. Home teams generally get about 3 points.
