I wonder if people in New Orleans have really been waiting for this? Most of the ones effected by the storm can't afford the tickets to go to the game and probably haven't moved back into the city.

That's what I was thinking as well, as I watched Sports Center earlier in the evening and the overwhelming majority of fans outside the stadium were rich whites

I'm sure the people in the poorer parts are looking forward to just watching the game wherever they might be right now and feel some connection and pride to their city
