Default Alexander out 2-4 Weeks
Just reported on ESPNEWS and NFL Network (no links yet):

Shaun Alexander is expected to be out for 2-4 weeks after suffering a broken foot, meaning that he is definitely out for the game against the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field this coming Sunday night.

Madden Curse anyone?

EDIT: Got a link. But you heard it from me first. http://cbs.sportsline.com/nfl/story/9684885

This Madden curse garbage is hilariously ridiculous. This guy has a crack in his foot because he appeared on the cover of a video game. Yeah, PLAYING FOOTBALL has nothing to do with it. Being horse caller tackled had nothing to do with it.

Manny, pick up Maurice Morris ASAP.

Do you not find it a bit ironic with all of the injuries/poor seasons that have been had by all of those previously on the cover?

Sure, I do. It is a very odd connection. But a curse? Seriously, who would put a curse on it? Other pissed off game designers? They sat around and had a seance to curse those who appeared on the cover of the video game. Gimme a break...

I don't agree with the curse aspect...I just find it very strange how it seems to effect the cover boy every year.

If there is a curse, here's hoping Hasselbeck was on the back cover!

It's not every year. Garrison Hearst was the first on the cover and he had his career year that year. Ray Lewis wasn't affected either.

I thought that Ray suffered a shoulder injury and the team did poorly.

Didn't Hearst miss two years because of a foot/ankle injury? Was that before or after the cover?

Yeah because the Rams need all the help they can get.

2-1 and not even scoring that much. We'll see soon enough, huh?

No worries man. The SEATTLE SEAHAWKS will be fine. The SEATTLE SHAUN ALEXANDER'S however are a bit beat up. MoMo will serve us just fine.

Well hopefully, for your sake, you didnt pull too much hair out by watching the Lambs struggle with the Cardinals and just barely edge out the win. Because that is their spot in the division, behind Seattle and fighting with AZ and oops, losing to lowly San Francisco.

Hey, that's okay, because we still have a starting runningback.
