So whats the update on the NFL having a team in Los Angeles?

So whats the update on the NFL having a team in Los Angeles?

The politicians in LA keep whining about it, but nobody will step up and make it happen. They will have to figure out which stadium they want to refurbish or build a new one and then have some billionaire buy another team. It won 't happen through expansion.

What team will move to LA?

If they don't do it through expansion then don't bring a team there.

There was a lot of speculation that it would be the Vikes until they got a real owner. There was also talk of the Colts until they browbeat the city into buying them a new stadium.

The best candidates today would be anyone who wants a new stadium. That's just about everyone.

Possible future LA teams:

Jaguars..Owners and the city of Jax cant get along....LA Jaguars.

Saints..Benson still wanted a new stadium,the only thing keeping him from moving for the time being is,the situation in NO and the NFL.Plus he would prefer to move to San Antonio.But that wont happen as far as Ive heard.Though I Hate teams moving,especially when the Fans love the team and they've been a part of the community for so long,it would be financially the best thing for them to do.NO is hurt bad and the NFL is a business.I dont see how the NFL could force Benson to stay in the next couple of yrs.It would be financial suicide for the team to stay,especially if the area doesnt FULLY recover soon....LA Saints.

Bills..I heard they were contemplating a move,not sure about that situation though.May have been just rumors....LA Sharks.(Bronze,SeaBlue,Black)
