Is it me or is John not that smart the Lions are not going to make trade unless it's for a DE/MLB/Draft picks.

Plus Ramsey would be a backup so why trade for a backup.

Whoever gets Ramsey is getting a guy with a great arm and a lot of potential...he was never given a full shot at the starting job in DC. Put him on a team with some decent WRs and he could have a good year this year, eso with it being the last year of his deal

I've always thought that Ramsey was going to be good in this league, and he never really got a fair shot at starting for the Skins, but I can't help but wonder if all this time of riding the pine and being told that he's a backup will have any long term effects on his abilities.

IMO, it would make sense for the Jets to grab him and make Chad and Patrick compete for the starting job. Even if Chad wins the job you know that he won't go a full 16 games without getting hurt and Ramsey would be a good QB to have on the bench. I think the Dolphins will end up going with a more proven guy at QB like a Culpepper or a Brees type of guy.

You never know what kind of effect the benching will have on Ramsey, but i believe he will play very well where ever he ends up. I just hope it isnt in the NFC East(which it looks like it wont be )
