Bills | R. Wilson did not understand new CBA
Wed, 8 Mar 2006 20:37:20 -0800 Dave Goldberg, of the Associated Press, reports Buffalo Bills owner Ralph Wilson was one of the two owners who voted against the new collective bargaining agreement. Wilson claimed he was unable to understand the proposal. Wilson said, "It is a very complicated issue and I didn't believe we should be rushing to vote in 45 minutes. I'm not a dropout ... or maybe I am. I didn't understand it." |

He should have just said that he disagreed with some aspects of the new deal, because he made himself sound like an idiot with those comments. How do you negotiate and work on a new CBA for the last few weeks and then come out and say that you don't understand it or that it's too complicated? They played the audio clip of Wilson saying this stuff on the radio this morning and then they played Grandpa Simpson writing a letter to the President complaining that there are too many States these days and the two clips sounded like the same guy. Why don't silly old coots know that they're silly old coots? |
