Ouch.

Seahawks will win the division. Fuck the Rams.

With what upgrades over last year?

Finger Elbow, take the homer glasses off man, Seattle just can't get it done.

You are making an excellent and repetitive argument for the Vikes choking. I'm not sure who else is. I do think it weighs on the team's mind as well. Kind of distracting -- or it would be for me.

I'd say the Packers are due, though.
I'm not trying to make a case, it happened.

PART of my viking history, is choking. It's in our blood. it is our shame

it is something i hope to see cured.

I'll give you Bryce Fisher, he was pretty successful in STL. 8.5 sacks isn't something to take lightly. However, that's just one year of production. You can't really tell the caliber of player you're dealing with after seeing only one good year. As for Herndon, I don't know enough about the guy, but I know he's young and also hasn't really proven anything yet. They might be upgrades, they might not.

I stick to my point, I am not sold on Seattle doing anything above medocrity this year.
You left out our two biggest acquisitions, Jamie Sharper and Andre Dyson.

Oh and...
And what have the Rams done to take the division back?
I understand people not thinking of the Seahawks as winners seeing they havent won a playoff game in 20 years but to say they havent improved this year is inaccurate.

Our defense has definitely improved. Additions like Jamie Sharper and Andre Dyson will definitely help. A healthy Marcus Trufant and Ken Hamlin. Emerging sophomores Michael Boulware and Marcus Tubbs. Exterminating injured and malcontent players like Anthony Simmons, Koren Robinson, and Chad Brown. We have also added some solid starters and backups in Bryce Fisher and Kelly Herndon, among others. And I see Lofa Tatupu making an impact.

And what have the Rams done to take the division back?
The Rams may have been 3-0 against the Seahawks last year but they were 6-9 against the rest of the league. As the Seahawks were 9-5 against the rest of the league. All the Seahawks have to do is figure out how to beat the Rams while the Rams need to figure out how to beat the rest of the league.

Sorry if I still like my team and wont let others tell me otherwise.

Oh and CowboyLifer...I see you....Week 7, Seahawks get revenge!

Nice work......but Packer Land is gonna struggle with your placement of their team. Detroit finally on top, simply amazing. Go Roy Williams.
I can live with your NFC East list for the time being.

I'm pretty sure the Packer D last year raised the QB-rating of every opposing QB ... even the Bears. Although I really don't know.
sometimes perfection was achieved.

Maybe so but its the same rhetoric every year. I think as long as Brett is playing it is GBs to lose, not knocking any other team. Look at last year our defense was horrid. Bates alone is improvement, IMO.
it's not greenbay's to lose

packers have won division past two years by skin of their teeth

Like that's the measuring stick for this year ? You can throw all kinds of bullshit around to try to rile up some kind of battle of historical moments -- ain't gonna happen, and I'd win anyway.

30 teams were home for the SB, including the Vikes.

Any given Sunday -- especially at playoff time.

And I don't really care what part of the season the Vikes choke in this year.
See fan, packer fans always bring up history as to why Vikings will choke/not win division

but when it comes to Pack in playoffs, it's...new season..never coutn out ole number 4, last year was different, bad coaching, etc.

so what is it? new season, or past DOES matter?

EVERY fan of EVERY team uses biased historical info

BUT i do agree w/ pack fans in that MN has to prove they're not going to choke away the second half of the season.

And Vick did what to you guys? Bringing up the past to prove a point is useless.
Vick's OT run vs VIkings will always remain a career highlight

many players have career highlights vs vikings defense..kind of embarrassing actually

So is it, past will dicatate vikings choking
but not packers lack of making the NFC champ game since 97?

It's kinda tough to get pissed to the same degree after hearing much of the same type of prediction year after year.

It's more of a yawn.

I'll still throw in a ho hum kind of disagreement, and try not to wink.
I'm not trying to be trendy, and I'm not trying to to be cliche. I don't even remember last year's predictions, by experts or otherwise.

And again, I hope you're right. I just don't think so this year.

I'd find New England as 3rd qualifying as "out there", personally.
I wouldn't, that one was easy. They lost some key elements, to include their excellent Def. Coordinator. The Jets are a tough team, and will beat the Pats in both meetings this year. Buffalo will at least split. Not to mention the few other games I envision them losing.

who the hell brought this off topic anyways
Me, when i said Green Bay would finish 3rd in the division. Funny how the author of the post can create the thread to go off topic....in the original post.

I am not saying the vikings will choke, but they could. Its ironic though the way they have in second half of the past few seasons. You least have to recognize that. Just as I recognize GB has choked in the playoffs. But again it has no basis other that what happened in the past.

BTW isn't favre 2-0 in the dome the past couple of years. And before that...............
