Your kidding right? The Lions and Fins ahead of the Pats? Please tell me this is a joke.

1) Pats- Offense picked it up later in the game and the defense looked good on every play but the lucky one where Moss caught the ball off a lucky bounce on the shoulder pads.
2) Steelers- Duce who? Bettis who? Willie Parker thats who. Big Ben added to his fame by spanking some peeps.
3) Colts- Took the Colts a half to clear the cobwebs but man, they are impressive on offense. The Defense doesn't look to bad either almost laying a shutout on the Ravens doorstep
4) Falcons- With their win over the Eagles and the improved play of Mike Vick (yes i said improved, if you didn't see that pass to Jenkins i think his name is and can't say that he hasn't improved you wern't watching the same football game as i was) the Falcons could represent the NFC in the big game. Hall looked like an all-pro in his second year and the rest of the defense played very well.
5) Chiefs- Most of the talk about the Chiefs in the last 3 years has been about offense. But from what i saw from the defense Sunday they will be the ones making the headlines this year. The offense will put up the numbers but they won't have to win games by throwing all of the time. Look for the one-two punch of Priest Holmes and Larry Johnson to kill teams this year and chew up the clock.

The Lions and Fins have no place in the top five until they win atleast 2 more games in the next two weeks. Lets face it, Green Bay and Denver didn't look that good. Plummer couldn't hit water throwing from a boat and Farve looked like he invoked the spirit of Ryan Leaf. Teams like the Eagles, Panthers, and Jets will bounce back and teams like the Fins, Lions, and Saints will come down to earth and suck it up again this year.
