Kid looks sharp with a cannon for an arm.

Mobile too.

Aaron Brooks should be worried.

I absolutely wanted him drafted by Detroit, who along with many teams passed on him more than once.

He will be a star. Mark my words.

He has looked really good running the ball this game but he needs to improve his passing. He seems to only look at the first or second read and if those guys aren't open he is running.

Not b/c of talent, but b/c of off the field issues.

If those are under control as they appear to be, he is a future Pro Bowler. I don't expect it to happen overnight to be sure, but I like the kid's potential.

I would espect that to coem with time and I'm sure that the Saints Linemen are used to Brooks wacky improvisations, so it will be nothing new to them.

Yeah, but Clarett went in the 3rd.

For christ sakes Lawrence Phillips was drafted 7th!

I find it hard to believe that some team wasn't willing to go for him earlier.

If he wouldn't have screwed up so royal like in FSU he would have been a first rounder,no doubt......he has skill.

I'd like to see him perform against something more than a 3rd and 4th string defense in a preseason game. He does have potential though.

He should watch what Wallace was doing for Seattle since that should be the next progression for McPherson.

I enjoy watching Seneca Wallace play. I am very glad Holmgren has him as the #2 QB and not killing his confidence by bringing in a veteran.

Guess I gotta come defend my boy again. A Mac has the talent and potential of any first round QB. His off the field stuff was back in the day at FSU. He has grown up and matured a lot since then. Its in the past. Not like adam jones who is still having off the field issues. But he was a top ten pick for some reason.

Every team including the lions should be kicking themselves for not drafting him. Hell we traded into the fifth. I was so happy, until we drafted dan o.

I loved McPherson coming into this year's draft. I wouldn't be surprised to see him start a few this year.

Gambling is just about the worst thing that you can do to your reputation.

Lenard Little- repeated DUI's, manslaughter- still in good graces with league, would be allowed in the HOF if he played that well

Pete Rose- gambled on own sport- no HOF or anything around the game.

Seems a little off, doesn't it, but that is how pro sports are.
