Giants.com reports WR Plaxico Burress left the field this morning with what is being called a hyperextended right knee. "Burress was injured when he ran a “go” route down the left sideline and had to stop and go up for a ball thrown by Tim Hasselbeck," writes Michael Eisen. "While in the air, Burress collided with cornerback Ahmad Treaudo. Burress’ right leg was extended when he hit the ground." Giants HC Tom Coughlin got the initial diagnosis from vice president of medical services Ronnie Barnes but further tests will be done today. |
