Every year it seems there is at least one top 10 pick that busts. From Tim Couch to Ryan Leaf. From Ki-Jana Carter to David Terrell. From Gerard Warren to Akili Smith. There's usually at least one. Or if there isn't a bust, there's at least a player that was just a stupid pick -- maybe somebody like Keyshawn Johnson or Kellen Winslow.

Here are my predictions:

1. Alex Smith -- I don't think this draft class was very strong for quarterbacks at all. I didn't like Smith or Rodgers, and thought McPherson might be the best quarterback in the entire draft. To me, Alex Smith might just have "Ryan Leaf" written all over him.

2. Adam "Pacman" Jones -- Well, he seems like an idiot -- which isn't necessarily a bad thing. There are plenty of really stupid football players that are great. He's got the quickness to be good ( a la Phillip Buchanan and Deangelo Hall) but I could see him getting injured or something to set him back, since he's a pretty small guy. I'm really not all that impressed with him.

I'm not sure if any of the RBs or WRs taken in the top 10 will be busts, but if I had to pick a RB that would be a bust, it would be -- Ronnie Brown. I don't know if he has what it takes to get it done at the NFL level. We'll see.

If I had to pick a WR that would be a bust, it would be -- Mike Williams -- only because of speed reason, I really don't think any of the WR will bust (Williamson will excel with Daunte at the helms, Braylon Edwards looks to be nasty -- although the Browns blow, and I really love Mike Williams's hands.)
