The Asheville Citizen-Times reports former NFL QB Heath Shuler announced today that he will run for the United States House of Representatives 11th Congressional district in North Carolina, a post currently held by long-time Republican Congressman Charles Taylor. Shuler filed paperwork this morning with the Federal Election Commission, according to a news release.

I'm guessing that he fails to connect with the voters in that district.

I'm guessing that he fails to connect with the voters in that district.

He should run in DC. Unless his mom lives there, he doesn't get a single vote.

If his mom does live there, on the other hand, he doesn't get a single vote.
