I HOPE SOMEONE CAN ANSWER THIS FOR ME. WHY CANT WE GET NFL TO SOUTH AFRICA AND PROMOTE THE GAME HERE. IT SPREADS TO EUROPEAN COUNTRIES LIKE, ENGLAND, SWEDEN, AUSTRIA, GERMANY AND EVEN THE NETHERLANDS. EVEN
CHINA NOW HAS A NFL TEAM. WHY SKIP AFRICA. SOUTH AFRICA HAS A LOT OF POTENTIAL TO MAKE A GREAT NFL TEAM THAT WOULD BE ABLE TO COMPETE ON A WORLDWIDE BASIS. PLUS WE HAVE A LOT OF POTENTIAL HERE FOR AMERICAN FOOTBALL.

With the exception of the Super Bowl, American football doesn't sell well overseas. Most of the data shows that international soccer fans find "American football" to be boring because of all the time in between plays, and the NFL has learned the hard way that the game just isn't that popular internationally. Consequently, unlike the NBA, the NFL really doesn't seem to have a very aggressive international marketing strategy. So, I wouldn't expect the NFL to be coming to South Africa soon. If you want an actual answer, though, you can probably find someone more knowledgeable to email on nfl.com.
