Pats 34
Steelers 23
The Pats postseason experience will show in this one. I've got a nickel to back that up.

Hopefully my curse will live on.
Yeah...knowing our luck, it won't. The good thing is...the curse can end and the Eagles can still win. Hopefully, it doesn't come to that.

Better to see my curse worked on the Eagles game.
I agree.

Hey pit...let's do an experiment here...you should put some money on the Pats to see who the bigger curse is. Just put 100 on them so we have the same amount down. I'm just curious as to who the bigger curse is.

Their second stringers beat the red hot Bills on the road 2 games ago.

And if Ben doesn't implode, they beat the Jets by 2 TDs.

Don't get carried away. The Jets didn't move the ball at all.
The NYJ moved the ball reasonably well bwetween the 20's as they have all year. They just missed 3 FG's. They should have beaten pitt. If ben plays another game like that it wont be close. And if BB can shut down the best offense in the league than Pitt is done before this even starts.

That bet just proved that God likes toying with Eagles fans.
At least we got our money back out of it. I still haven't bet on the Eagles game and I won't. I'm not taking any chances with that game.

as you can tell by my avatar, i am a steelers fan. how could i not like them a home dogs. also, heinz field will be the equilizer for vinatieri, no 50 yard fg's, ~50% from 40+.
You're also an Eagles fan.

So you're a fan of no one.

Whenever I bet on a VBET, the other side always wins. I bet on the Steelers intentionally
You want to see the Patriots in the Super Bowl, if the Eagles win? We'd have 150 yards in penalties by half.

I can't see McNabb ever playing that bad again...not ever. Plus, the Eagles D is much better against the run now. I would give the Eagles about an equal chance of beating each team, should they win tomorrow.
i wouldn't be so sure, he will have to play a very good defense with 2 weeks of preperation time with, at best, an injured terrell owens. if he goes up against one of those defenses without any receivers other than pinky and fred-ex, i would be slightly worried.

Not even waiting on this one. I'm as certain as I can be that the Pats will win this one easily. The Steelers haven't looked too hot the past couple weeks, and were pretty much horrible against the Jets. I fully expect Belichek too come up with a great plan to make Roethlisberger look like the rookie he is. Great season Ben, way to make the MAC proud, but it all ends here.

I felt this was the lock of the night so thats why I put a 1000 on the Pats tonight.
It looks like Pitt is starting to make a little noise. It isnt over quite yet.

Without a punt return and an 86 yard INT return, they score 3 points. And since the point of the thread was that Pittsburgh wasn't playing well lately, that and the Bills win is really all that's relavant, at least to me.

You obviously forget how bad he played against the Steelers. There is NO way he ever plays that bad again. Nice argument about the 2 weeks, though...I'm sure the Eagles offensive coaches will just be watching TV during that period.

I'm so convinced New England is going to win, I may even put everything I have on them. Sorry Steelers fans. I just know Belichek will have a super game plan, and his players will run it to perfection.

This is the tougher of the 2 bets IMO. The Pats look unstoppaple, but the Steelers have the talent to beat them. It wouldn't suprise me at all if Pitt won this one, but I'll take the Pats for a about a hundred and dump everything else I have on the Eagles.

Congrats to the Patriots. They showed why they are spoken of as being a dynasty. It is going to be a great Super Bowl. Feels good to be a football fan.

the steelers did dominate the eagles when they played in week 9. i can understand him not wanting to see them again. at least the eagles haven't played the patriots this year.
