What can I say?

Some people see the bottle as half half-empty.

Some see it as half-full.

I see it as me being half-drunk.

Well fellas, this thread had the makings of a classic, but I'm sure like myself, a lot of guys won't be able to post today for *some* reason. I might pop in for a moment, but that'll be it. I've got like 83 places to go today.

So if I don't make it back, Merry Christmas (even to the Vikings fans ).
i gotta scoot too but i wanted to stop by to wish everyone a great game and a very Merry Christmas Eve.

later guys.

GO PACKERS !!!

Dear god... I am going to dread this thread if I don't go to the game. A nightmare for anybody who dares to moderate it.

My Vikes VS Pack Predictions

First and foremost... Vikings W another year, another split

Daunte is gonna erupt.... Moss is finally in synch with the rest of the offense after injury...and burleson is still producing either 4 or 5 TD's IMO

Bennetts Build off of today's performance, and gains 85 Total yards (recieving and rushing)

-------

*disclaimer, all the defense predictions I am about to make are based on the assumption that Winfield will be able to play*

Favre will be picked 3 times, Once by Williams, Once by Winfield, and Once by Claibourne

Kevin Williams will have 3 sacks and a FF

Vikings Defense will not allow more than 17 points,

Now let me explain this, you may think its crazy talk, but i saw something from our D today, it wasn't in the 4th quarter, when ross and shaw got their asses handed to them.... im talking about quarters 1-3...where they didn't let Detroit score TD's.... I think, with a healthy winfield, our secondary can hang with the GB recievers... and with constant pressure from Blitzes, i think Favre will be prone to mistakes, and the vikings will capitalize.

What does it matter GB wiil fuck it up anyway. I thought I saw we were in the playoffs anyway. We'll win one and that'll be it further screwing us.

GB dbs and lbs are going to get shredded again.

christ, some people around here are huge babies after losses. oops. did I say that out loud?

That's assuming that they'll get pressure on Favre with blitzing. What you need to look at is Brett's passer rating in games after he's thrown more INTs than TDs. I think it's in the 90 to 100 range.

C'mon now.

If you don't "like" the way the team "is" -- "this team's lack of consistency, intensity, penalties, and mistakes" -- don't watch it ??

I hate that shit. But no team is perfect. We sure could be a lot less imperfect, though.

Let's get to the second season, eh ??
I guess I should have expected that. But I'll watch as I have for 30+ years. I am not getting my hopes up. This team is just too inconsistent an mistake prone. You can bet though, if they start kicking ass, I'll be right along side you cheering. I just can't see it happening, sorry.

You sure did. You don't like what I say don't read it.

I am tired of this team's lack of consistency, intensity, penalties, and mistakes. You, however, must see it differently.

Unfortuantely, I can see the Packers get smoked, unless the dline brings their A game, Specifically Hunt and KGB.
and if you dont like what you see, dont watch them play anymore.

p.s. thats your logic by the way.

and again, if we're gonna win, we're gonna win because of #4. TOUCHDOWN!
They still have to run the ball.

Unbelieveable. Now they let them get a big return.

ugh.

or we could just run the table, cruise through the playoffs, meet Pittsburgh in the super bowl and win 177-3 with our D only allowing a FG in garbage time. Brett breaks the record with 13 TDs in a game, plus 977 pass yards. Or maybe yours will happen.
I love your version B and that would be great but i have to say put the pipe down, step away and just say no. unfortunately rogs prediction is probably dead on. i said in a previous thread that this years team is like Dr. Jekyle and Mr. Hyde you just dont know who is going to show up on that day. i said they could win their last 3 games or lose them and so far its starting out to be the latter. i see the consensus (which i agree) is the pack will be one and done no matter if they have a playoff at home or away. its getting harder and harder to get excited about a team that to me just doesnt give a damn. i wonder how many penalities they will commit this friday?

well IMO it will be either atl/GB/Minn in the SB since Philly finds new ways to lose every year. *L*
