I'm sure some Packer fans will be posting crap.....OH WAIT, there's one now.

Short week is good for all of US because I'm sure we are all hyped up to see this game. If this game was on Sunday I think I woulda pulled all my hair out by then.
Thankfully I can watch the game, won't interfere with my travel plans.

So if Winfield plays I feel we really do have a chance. Should be a shootout with our two defense's being.....well.....usless.
Thanks for proving my point.

I plan on being about 3/4 in the bag before kickoff.

That should soften the blow of watching the inept tackling defense and the turnover machine offense.

The only hope I see is that Minny has equally inept defense.

I predict the usual dome meltdown. (these are only predictions, no crystal ball comments, please)

Minnesota 42
Packers 32 (they score late to cut it to 42-30, and go for 2).

I also predict a loss at Lambeau South against he Care Bears.

Losing at Lambeau
South will be the trifecta (4 game losing streak, losing to a hot-weather team at home in December, getting swept by the Bears) for Sherman and cost him his job.

Minny gets the 3 seed, Packers play at Seattle (or St. Louis- it doesn't matter) in playoffs and get embarrased.

8-8 and first round loss.

Nice little package for us to swallow.

This team is undisciplined and Sherman must take the blame.

If your going to accuse me of posting things that i didnt then yes i will ask you to leave. If your going to accuse me of inciting a fight when all i did was ask my fellow fans to keep their heads then yes i will ask you to leave.

But let me guess. Certain posters on the vikes board can post baiting threads and nothing will be said. Its that double standard that makes people leave.

Now drop it.

I guess I should have expected that. But I'll watch as I have for 30+ years. I am not getting my hopes up. This team is just too inconsistent an mistake prone. You can bet though, if they start kicking ass, I'll be right along side you cheering. I just can't see it happening, sorry.
I hear ya.

Expecting the "kick-ass" to kick-in, despite many objective signs pointing in another direction, has become ingrained ... and I choose not to fight against the years of conditioning and behavioral channeling.

Cheers.

Yep, except for Ferguson, we have relatively injury free from this week, so short week won't hurt us that much. I bet both Favre and Green are dying to get back on to the field again after watching the video tape from the game today.

Well fellas, this thread had the makings of a classic, but I'm sure like myself, a lot of guys won't be able to post today for *some* reason. I might pop in for a moment, but that'll be it. I've got like 83 places to go today.

So if I don't make it back, Merry Christmas (even to the Vikings fans ).
Sometimes i post at halftime but i dont have a TV next to my computer, I have company coming over today also, got chili to make and gin and tonics to mix!

Someone explain to me why we're throwing 3 yard dumpoffs over the middle when we have NO timeouts and less than 40 seconds on the clock?

Im sure some certain vikings fan are going to be posting crap this week so just ignore them. They are still bitter about their year going the way of 2003. Ignore them and everything will be fine.
Wow...it's only Sunday and we've already got someone trying to start a fight.

Can't we keep this civil and let the players on the field do the talking?

And there I'm thinking you're giving our coaching staff's too much credit....that many points would involve a hell of a game plan I think...lol
Theres no in between then . Cancel the game.

Well, hey, according to the logic of MANY, but not all viking fans, the winner of this game will actually be a loser because they will more than likely have a later pick in the first round. If neither team is going to make it far in the playoffs, they should each try to get a higher pick now to prepare for next year, right??

And now I think your giving our offenses too much credit.....
As for the mentioned "slide"......
Yea an 8-6 record, tied for the division lead is a real 'slide'.
I'm sorry but don't we have the same record as some team that affiliates itself with cheese?
And wait, how does what happend to the Vikings on Week 11, 12, 13, etc have ANY BEARING on what's going to happen on Friday?
Oh riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight, it doesn't.

Yes and we have the same record that affiliates itself with men wearing yellow pigtails.

You're right...certain posters will post stupid shit and try and start fights...and we should ignore them....but telling me to get off the Packer's board and go start my own thread on the Viking's board could be classified as that same "stupid shit" you were talking about.

If your going to accuse me of posting things that i didnt then yes i will ask you to leave. If your going to accuse me of inciting a fight when all i did was ask my fellow fans to keep their heads then yes i will ask you to leave.

Well, the Packers are 1-2 this year when they have a short week, so take that statistic how you wish.
