No problem, just thought I'd be the one to prove your point so that maybe we can move onto GAMETHREAD material?!

Good idea Lets talk about the downfall that began for the vikes a few weeks ago. From what ESPN said the team is cursed. Does anyone believe that? I certainly dont but i believe the pack will sweep them this year. The only thing guaranteed on FRI is DC doing the gay arm roll dance just once.

Ahh, the game to determine where and when these 2 pretenders will be eliminated.

Yup , like it matters, neither of teams can do anything in the playoffs.

ok 16 seconds left in the game Packers are up 27-21. Moss takes the ball on the reverse. Passes to the endzone and its picked off. Sorry I just had to get that one in.
Naw...that plays been done once...Tice has a brand new way to fuck up this next game..check it out...

Line up Moe Willams at QB, spread Daunte out to the right along with Moss...with Burleson and Kenechi Udeze to the left and Morten Anderson lined up next to Moe Williams....

Snap it to Moe, hand it off to Morten....toss it back to Udeze who then hands it off to Moss on the double reverse who then throws it to a streaking Daunte Culpepper for the game winning touchdown...but DC drops it because he starts doing his arm roll dance early.

or we could just run the table, cruise through the playoffs, meet Pittsburgh in the super bowl and win 177-3 with our D only allowing a FG in garbage time. Brett breaks the record with 13 TDs in a game, plus 977 pass yards. Or maybe yours will happen.

Well fellas, this thread had the makings of a classic, but I'm sure like myself, a lot of guys won't be able to post today for *some* reason. I might pop in for a moment, but that'll be it. I've got like 83 places to go today.

So if I don't make it back, Merry Christmas (even to the Vikings fans ).

Has Javon Walker been in?

NFL.com shows no catches midway through the 2nd, and I can't watch the game now.

The downfall that has us tied for first place with a chance to win the North with a win on Friday and then a win against the Skins?

The Vikings aren't cursed...hell...it could be worse...at least we've been in a Super Bowl...I'd take that over being a Browns, Lions, Seahawks, or Jags fan anyday.

And the "gay little arm roll dance"...DC's going to do that 4 times on Friday.

Hmmm, i think your giving both our defenses to much credit

First of all i didnt say anything bad about anybody here. If you think for one min that certain posters wont be posting stupid shit then your wrong. The last thing we need is for someone to get a hot head and give into them.

As far as you second comment i never said anything to you about not liking you in fact i have stuck up for you on certain occasions on the bears board. If you have anything else you need to say to me you do it VIA PM.

Other then that lets stick to to thread. thank you.
You're right...certain posters will post stupid shit and try and start fights...and we should ignore them....but telling me to get off the Packer's board and go start my own thread on the Viking's board could be classified as that same "stupid shit" you were talking about.

Dear god... I am going to dread this thread if I don't go to the game. A nightmare for anybody who dares to moderate it.
I won't be adding fuel to the fire - I'll be at my parents' for the entire day.

on the injury front theres the good and the bad. Theres more bad than good

The Bad:
-Lee was inactive for last weeks game, hes been bothered by the same knee that kept him out of 5 games early in the season. Sherman decided to go with Cole after Lee struggled in practice last week
-Grady jackson is also bothered by his knee, the dislocated one.
-Najeh Davenport is still hampered by two broken ribs, hes not seen many touches and is playing in a flak jacket, Green is also still playing in a flak jacket
-Marco Rivera has back spasms, and may not practice today
-KGB to undergo MRI for a stinger he had
-Navies will be held out of contact today, but will practice. His shoulder is the issue
-Kelvin Kight has a injured leg and probably wont be available as the #4 wr to replace ferggy

The Good:
-Fergy is going to be ok, chance he'll practice this week
-Diggs could practice today, might play
-Brett's arm is ok - "Quarterback Brett Favre was expected to play despite the left thumb bruise he suffered"
-Barry will be reevaluated today
